Sonja is a certified 200 hour Structural Yoga Teacher and has been practicing Yoga herself for close to 10 years. While the physical element is what brought her to Yoga in the first place, the focus has shifted and for her, Yoga starts with being aware – aware of our body, our breath and our mind. The structure of each class follows these three elements. She truly believes that yoga is for everybody. She is providing for most poses alternatives too: so all students, regardless of flexibility, injury, or strength, can follow the class with ease and joy. She hopes to bring to her students not only proper alignment, strength and body awareness but also fun, balance and happiness so we can enjoy each day a little bit more, whether on the mat or outside of the studio.
