This event includes shaking, dancing, seated meditation, and deep relaxation. "Being fully immersed in the shaking and dancing of the first two stages helps to "melt" the rock-like being, wherever the energy flow has been repressed and blocked. Then that energy can flow, dance and be transformed into bliss and joy. The last two stages enable all this energy to flow vertically, to move upwards into silence. It is a highly effective way of unwinding and letting go at the end of the day." It is truly the ultimate relaxation experience, and is one of my personal favorite classes to take/teach. Trust me, you don't want to miss this!
This 90 minute workshop is geared towards those with a history of lower back pain, soreness, stiffness etc. Concentration will be on movement/body awareness and reprogramming, relaxation, stretching, and strengthening in a simple, easy to understand way. This workshop is perfect for beginners, non yogi's, spouses/family of yoga students with back problems, who've either been uninterested, or afraid to get on a yoga mat! Class will be instructed in easy to understand, simple terms by ERYT 200 yoga instructor Krishna Venkatesh.
Krishna came to yoga because of his own history of excruciating and long term back pain, and is eager to share his own journey, rehabilitation, and experience with participants.
Warning- This class is NOT suitable for those with an acute condition, or anyone who has had recent back surgery!!!
